Swimmer Dies After Water Rescue In Long Beach

LONG BEACH, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — There was a water rescue in Long Beach, Nassau County, on Thursday.

Around 7 p.m., multiple 911 calls reported a swimmer in distress near Monroe Boulevard.

CBS2 has been told six people were pulled from the water. One of them did not survive.

The victim’s name and age is unknown at this time.
