GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — An impressive display of gingerbread houses on Long Island is bringing holiday cheer this season.
Nearly 500 houses make up Gingerbread Lane at the Long Island Children’s Museum in Garden City.
Each of the gingerbread houses was baked, built and decorated by chef Jon Lovitch.
He is the Guinness World Record holder for the largest gingerbread village.
This one took him 10 months to create.
