NYPD Delivers Toys For Pediatric Patients At Staten Island Hospital

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Children spending Christmas in the hospital on Staten Island got a special delivery Tuesday.

The NYPD joined forces with Santa to bring toys to pediatric patients at Richmond University Medical Center.

Participants say they just wanted to make the holidays as normal as possible for the kids, and it’s all worth it when they see their faces light up.

The toys are donated through officers, Toys for Tots and the community.
