MELVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A fire caused a tank to explode at a Long Island asphalt plant Tuesday.

It happened at a plant on Spagnoli Road in Melville.

CBS2 has been told a fire spread and sparked a small tank explosion.

No one was hurt.
