Person Hospitalized After Car Plunges Into Water In Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – One person has been hospitalized after a car plunged into the water in Mount Vernon.

It happened around 8:38 a.m. near the Fulton Avenue Bridge and Secor Lane.

It’s not immediately clear how many people were in the car when it went into the Hutchinson River, nor was it known what led to the incident.
