Jennifer Lopez ‘Stopped By’ Ben Affleck's 52nd Birthday Celebration Amid Divorce Rumors

[ad_1]

Jennifer Lopez isn't holding a grudge against Ben Affleck for skipping her 55th birthday party.

To be fair, Lopez hosted her Bridgerton-themed bash all the way in the Hamptons, so it was definitely easier for the singer to “stop by” her husband's "small birthday celebration" in Los Angeles, which is the exact phrasing a source used to describe her visit on August 15.

According to a source that spoke with People, the Good Will Hunting actor chose to spend his birthday with his children, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. "The kids were with Ben for most of the day. He didn't leave the house at all for his birthday," the source said, adding that it was “exactly what he wanted.”

Based on photos shared by The Daily Mail, Lopez and Garner both paid visits to Affleck's rental home in Brentwood, where he's been staying amid recent divorce rumors. "He didn't want to go out to celebrate," the source told People. “The kids had gifts for him, and it was cute. Jennifer [Lopez] stopped by to congratulate him.”

Rumors of a split began circulating after Lopez was spotted house-hunting in Los Angeles without her husband on May 14. A day later, reports surfaced that Affleck had already moved out of their shared home, which they quietly put on the market in June.

Despite canceling her wold tour to spend more time with her family, Lopez and Affleck spent much of the summer on opposite coasts until her return to LA in August. While Affleck has reportedly purchased a new home in the Pacific Palisades, Lopez is allegedly still on the hunt.
