It’s 10 p.m. on the final night of London Fashion Week, and Irina Shayk is closing Mowalola’s spring-summer 2025 spectacle in a bodysuit made from hair extensions. She vamps and writhes and poses for the photographers much like she did at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival—when she had been dressed in a crisscross leather bandeau and a low-slung skirt of the same designer’s making.
There is one thing the former Victoria’s Secret Angel loves more than taking bathroom selfies with Riccardo Tisci: nude-illusion dresses—like this one or this one or this one or this one—and she was last night photographed strolling through Milan in an almost see-through slip cut from tulle and gothic lace. The model was among a select handful of guests, including Ashley Graham, Amelia Gray, Alek Wek, and Max Montingelli, attending the opening of Vogue Italia’s 60th anniversary exhibition.
“All I can say about Vogue parties is that you always end up staying way later than you planned,” said Irina Shayk ahead of British Vogue and Self Portrait’s summer soirée in 2021. “and I love wearing party looks that let me feel at ease.” The model would have felt even more at ease knowing that there were at least three historic covers on the walls of the Palazzo Citterio bearing her own image.
