Jennifer Lopez meant it when she posted that “unbothered” T-shirt after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck.
On September 1, the 55-year-old singer was spotted dancing during a shopping trip at Westfield Century City mall in Los Angeles—and no, it didn't appear to be for a music video. In photos shared by Page Six, Lopez vibed with her hands in the air while 16-year-old Emme appeared to film the joyful moment on their phone. Many teenagers would be embarrassed by their mother dancing in public, but Emme was all smiles, holding the phone in one hand and a Sephora shopping bag in the other.
While the teen was dressed in baggy cargo pants, plaid button-down, and black paisley bandana, Lopez wore a multi-toned denim maxi skirt and cropped white tank with sequins. Of course, J.Lo topped the look off with layers of jewelry, gold hoops, oversized sunglasses, and a Dior shoulder bag. You can see the photos here.
Jennifer Lopez basically looked like the opposite of all those Sad Affleck memes during one of her first outings since her official split from the Good Will Hunting actor. One source recently told People that Affleck's “moody” nature deeply affected their marriage, claiming Lopez spent "a lot of time making sure Ben was happy and had everything he needed."
"The way she cared for him was almost childlike," the source said. "Friends constantly reminded her that she’s not responsible for his feelings. He’s very moody and dark at times. Jennifer appreciates life in another way. She’s very grateful for everything.”
For her first Instagram dump since her split from Affleck, Lopez shared a series of photos from their summer apart. For slide 13, she shared a photo of a T-shirt with a very telling message: “She's in bloom and unbothered out of reach and at peace.” It sure looks like it!
