It turns out Justin Lupe was pregnant the entire time she was filming Nobody Wants This, but if you couldn't tell, don't feel bad. None of her coworkers knew she was pregnant either. At least, not at first.
After the show's premiere, Lupe, who plays Morgan, revealed on Instagram that she spent the first half of her pregnancy filming the Netflix show. “This show carried me through my first 5+ months of pregnancy with so much warmth,” she wrote in her caption. According to Lupe's caption, nobody in the cast or crew knew she was pregnant until a certain wardrobe-related mishap in the middle of the night.

Lupe thanked the, “cast and crew who supported me from the moment my Gucci skirt ripped open in both the front and backsides on set at 2am when they had no idea I was pregnant and thought I was just rapidly falling apart…” She finished her caption, “I had so much fun with this show and with Morgan in particular. I hope you have fun with it too!”
Justine Lupe first revealed her pregnancy back in February of 2024, when she was photographed cradling her baby bump at the SAG awards. Also on IG, Lupe wrote, “Guy in second photo made first photo possible,” referring to her boyfriend, Tyson Manson.
