Welcome to your monthly tarotscopes, celestial babe! The entire year of 2024 is full of powerful transits, and these notable shifts continue for us in October. Below, we have horoscopes for each of the 12 zodiac signs with a unique tarot card pulled to predict the month ahead for every member of the zodiac. Be sure to read for both your sun and rising sign for the most accurate reading.
On October 2, we kick off with a new moon solar eclipse. This eclipse is all about recalibrating our relationships and partnerships to make sure that they don't exist at the expense of our relationship to ourselves. It’s a fabulous time to live your life in the most balanced, harmonious, and love-centered way possible without crossing your own boundaries in the process. Eclipses are, in my opinion, not the time for ritualized manifestation—instead, it's more appropriate to surrender to the universal plan at hand.
As the month progresses, Jupiter retrograde in Gemini begins on October 9 and will ask us to reassess our growth, expansion, and paths toward learning. On October 11, Pluto stations direct in Capricorn and may push us to confront and release any lingering fears, hierarchies, or power struggles. When October 13 arrives, Mercury shifts into Scorpio. Expect deeper communication and to dig into any buried (but honest) emotional truths. Are you ready to look at who you are beneath the surface and finally share that person with the world?
Later in the month, the full moon in Aries arrives on October 17. It'll ignite our passion and motivate us to take action on what (and who) we desire. That same day, Venus steps into Sagittarius, which may infuse our relationships with a more adventurous and playful energy. The last transition of the month happens as the Sun moves into Scorpio on October 22. This will close out Libra season and invite in passionate, mysterious, and transformational Scorpio season.
As you experience these powerful changes, don't forget how far you've already come. September kicked off with two major shifts: Uranus retrograde in Taurus and Pluto retrograde reentering Capricorn. Both set the stage for deep inner reflection and the unraveling of old and outdated structures. In August, Mercury stationed retrograde in the earthly Virgo. With the planet of communication, technology, and travel in its home sign of Virgo, but with a retrograde period in full swing, this transit might have made things a little complicated. We ended July with Mercury entering Virgo, which helped us to express ourselves more clearly. It was a good time to take advantage of your 15 minutes! We entered June still in the midst of Gemini season, which encouraged us to lean into connection, communication, and thinking more creatively.
We started May with a Pluto retrograde period in the eccentric sign of Aquarius. This transit will be with us until Pluto, the outermost planet, stations direct on October 11. This will ask us to face our shadows, secrets, and taboos with bravery. Because Pluto is an outer planet, we’ll likely see this on a societal level rather than in personal struggles—so expect the unexpected and try to take others off of a pedestal during this time. We entered April still in the midst of Aries season, which encouraged us to be bold and take risks in order to reach our goals. It was a great time to tap into your confidence and leave uncertainty and insecurity behind you. As March wound down, we ended with a full moon Lunar eclipse in Libra. This major lunation brought undeniable shifts and changes for all zodiac signs, but especially for Libra, Gemini, Aquarius, Cancer, Aries, and Capricorn placements.
