If there's one thing Bella Hadid is gonna do, it's convince me I need a new bag—and I'm begging her to stop.
Over the past few months, the 28-year-old model has undoubtably contributed to a rise in Coach sales, repeatedly toting around the Brooklyn Shoulder Bag in multiple colors before switching over to the the Coachtopia Alter/Ego hobo bag. While her boot and leather jacket game are equally on point as her taste in everyday carry-alls, the prices of these bags are often more attainable than other staple pieces in her wardrobe…Which brings me to her latest suede bag.
Having become naively accustom to her under $500 dollar price point, I was thrilled to see her latest round of paparazzi photos from a recent outing in New York City. On November 2, the model was spotted giving a relatively simple 'fit some rodeo flair with a striking pair of cowboy boots and a stunning suede shoulder bag with fringe and silver rivet details.
Unfortunately for me, this is not a $500 Coach bag, but a Valentino Garavani Nellcôte suede shoulder bag with a $2,690 price tag. Still, the part of me that has become used to adding Bella Hadid's bags to my cart (if not always pulling the trigger) is starting to justify the purchase. Sure, $2,690 is a lot of money, but it's hardly Birkin or even Bottega Andiamao Shoulder Bag money… Emily, stop it.
Of course, you do not need, nor should you buy something new every time Hadid steps out of her home. However, if this vintage-inspired bag truly speaks to your personal style as it does mine, you're in luck—in fact, there's even a Coach option under $300. And if you're looking for something to throw everything you own into, Free People's Riley Fringe Bag may serve you even better for $98.
Okay, Bella Hadid. Your work here is done…please??
