In the episode, she spoke with Kaitlin Olson, a fellow mom and the star of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia—a clever way to tie back into the Eagles of it all. Olson is also the star of the new show High Potential, which I am really enjoying, just as a side note.
But with increased attention, so comes increased scrutiny. Kelce is currently pregnant with her fourth daughter; her three with Jason are all pretty young, and she was asked if Jason would be keeping the kids occupied while she records, the way she does when he and Travis are taping New Heights. The answer was maybe not what people were hoping for.
"My husband could tell me 72 times that he is going to be in the house during the times when I have to leave it. I will still schedule childcare,” she said, adding, “And it is not a knock on my husband. My husband is busier than he has ever been. He is working so hard, and really grinding right now, and so I just make sure that I’m covered.” Feathers were ruffled.

On the one hand, dealing with three energetic kids would be hard for anyone, and it's not a bad thing to get help. On the other, fathers need to equal caretakers, period. But on the third, secret hand: I don't know these people, but they seem really nice, so I'm just gonna assume it's all good until I hear otherwise.
And…is the controversy possibly a good thing? Starting a debate isn't a bad way to get clicks and views, and getting real about the challenges of parenthood, even within a happy, healthy marriage, is the kind of candor that make Kylie so popular in the first place. A number of women in the comments on the above clip are agreeing with her on the childcare question. If we're going to have this conversation, I'm so glad we're having it on Ky's pod, not Joe's.
By the time you read this, episode two will be out, and Kelce may or may not be besting Rogan once again. But if she can do it once, she can do it twice, and I'm excited to see what she does next.
